Hi, could anyone give me a comparison of the gamecube vs the x-box? I have seen the 'Hardware' section of this site and i am not that computer literate. I need a more simple explination PLEASE.

GameCube was designed so that developers could make complex games easily. It is very developer-friendly. It is a very high-end console.

The X-Box is basically a computer. It has a hard drive which means it can crash and freeze up just like a normal computer. It has the hard drive so games can load quickly and can have mods in the future.

That is as simple of an explaination as I can come up with.

Where were you going to put this?

Also I'd say that software-wise everyone knows Nintendo has the best exclusive games. 3rd party-wise Nintendo is weaker, but since Gamecube will be so easy and cheaper to program for, developers should start showing their Gamecube offerings after March 2002 (the next fiscal year) i dont know how many times I have said that either hehe. It is just so logical and simple. And funnily enough, it is basically the same reason psx beat down n64, psx was cheaper and easier to program for than the n64!

How can PSX beat GC if PS2 will have a hard time beating it? Also if you want all the fun in one box why not get a PC of 800 MHZ or higher? GC does what its suppose to do give you entertainment.
